Keeping your face clean is the first and most important step to control pimples, especially in summer when sweat and oil production increase.
During hot weather, your skin produces more oil (sebum) and sweat. This mixes with dust, pollution, and bacteria, which can clog your pores and cause pimples, blackheads, and acne. That’s why regular cleansing is essential.
How to keep your face clean properly:
-
Wash your face 2–3 times a day
Use a gentle face wash in the morning, after coming from outside, and before sleeping. Avoid over-washing, as it can dry your skin and increase oil production. -
Choose the right face wash
Go for a mild, oil-control or acne-fighting face wash. If your skin is oily, look for ingredients like salicylic acid or neem. -
Use lukewarm or normal water
Very hot water can damage your skin and increase dryness, while cold water may not remove oil effectively. -
Don’t scrub too hard
Be gentle while washing your face. Harsh scrubbing can irritate your skin and make pimples worse. -
Keep your towel clean
Always use a clean, soft towel to pat your face dry. Dirty towels can transfer bacteria and cause breakouts. -
Remove sweat and dirt quickly
After sweating, rinse your face or wipe it with a clean cloth or face wipes to prevent clogged pores. -
Remove makeup before sleeping
Sleeping with makeup blocks pores and leads to pimples. Always clean your face properly at night.
A clean face reduces oil, removes bacteria, and keeps your pores open—helping you stay pimple-free in summer.
Remember: Clean skin is healthy skin!
