Wash Your Face Frequently (2–3 Times Daily)

During the summer season, our skin produces more oil because of heat, sweat, and humidity. Dust and pollution also stick easily to the skin, which can clog pores and cause pimples, acne, and dullness. Washing your face regularly is one of the most important steps to keep your skin clean, fresh, and oil-free in hot weather.

Try to wash your face 2–3 times a day—once in the morning after waking up, once in the afternoon if your skin feels sweaty or oily, and once before going to bed at night. This helps remove extra oil, sweat, dirt, and bacteria that build up on the skin throughout the day.

Use a gentle oil-free face wash or mild cleanser that suits your skin type. Avoid harsh soaps because they can dry out the skin and make it produce even more oil. While washing your face, use lukewarm or cool water and gently massage the cleanser in circular motions for about 20–30 seconds. This helps clean the pores deeply without damaging the skin.

After washing, pat your face dry with a clean and soft towel instead of rubbing it. Rubbing the skin can cause irritation and increase oil production. Keeping your face clean regularly will help prevent pimples, control excess oil, and keep your skin looking fresh and healthy during summer.

Important Tip:
Do not wash your face too many times (more than 3–4 times daily), because excessive washing can remove natural moisture and make the skin produce even more oil.
