Some allergy symptoms are NOT normal and NOT safe to wait for home remedies or tablets. Ignoring them can become life-threatening. If you notice any one of the following signs, seek medical help immediately.
1️⃣ Breathing Difficulty or Chest Tightness
If you feel:
- Shortness of breath
- Wheezing sound
- Heavy chest or pressure
- Fast or shallow breathing
This may indicate severe allergic reaction (anaphylaxis) and needs emergency care.
2️⃣ Swelling of Lips, Tongue, Face, or Eyes
Sudden swelling—especially:
- Lips becoming thick
- Tongue feeling heavy
- Eyes or face puffing up
This is a danger sign and can block the airway.
3️⃣ Continuous or Severe Itching (More Than 2 Weeks)
If itching:
- Does not stop day or night
- Disturbs sleep
- Is worsening daily
It may indicate chronic allergy, liver issue, or internal disease.
4️⃣ Fever, Pain, Pus, or Burning Sensation
Allergy usually does not cause fever.
If you notice:
- Fever with rash
- Yellow/white pus
- Painful or burning skin
This could be infection, not allergy.
5️⃣ Rapidly Spreading Rash or Hives
If rashes:
- Spread within hours
- Cover large body areas
- Change color or shape fast
Immediate evaluation is required.
6️⃣ Dizziness, Fainting, or Confusion
These symptoms can mean:
- Drop in blood pressure
- Severe allergic reaction
Do not wait at home.
7️⃣ Allergy in Children, Elderly, or Pregnant Women
Extra care is needed because:
- Symptoms worsen quickly
- Medicine reactions are stronger
Important Reminder
If allergy symptoms scare you, trust that feeling and see a doctor. Delay can be dangerous.
