Eat Light & Cooling Foods

Eating the right kind of food during summer plays a big role in controlling sweat and keeping your body cool. Heavy, spicy, and oily foods increase body heat, which leads to more sweating and discomfort. Instead, choosing light and cooling foods helps maintain a balanced body temperature and keeps you fresh from the inside.

Include water-rich fruits in your daily diet such as watermelon, cucumber, muskmelon, and oranges. These fruits not only hydrate your body but also cool it naturally. They are easy to digest and provide essential vitamins that keep your skin healthy and glowing.

Add curd, buttermilk (chaas), and lassi to your meals. These dairy products have a natural cooling effect and help in digestion. They also maintain good gut health and reduce the chances of acidity and heat-related problems.

Green vegetables like spinach, लौकी (bottle gourd), and तौरी (ridge gourd) are light on the stomach and help reduce internal heat. Eating simple home-cooked meals like dal, rice, and roti is much better than consuming heavy junk food.

Avoid too much spicy food, fried snacks, caffeine, and sugary drinks, as they increase body temperature and trigger more sweating. Instead, drink fresh lemon water, coconut water, and herbal drinks to stay refreshed.

Eating smaller meals at regular intervals also helps your body digest food easily and prevents excess heat production. This keeps your metabolism balanced and reduces sweating.

A healthy summer diet not only controls sweat but also keeps your energy levels high and your body cool throughout the day.
